Dr. Lyudmila Sutherland Joins the Team at Focused Eye Care

Nashua, N.H. (June 17, 2024) – Focused Eye Care, an optometry office focused on serving the needs and treatment of patients living in the Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts areas, has recently welcomed Dr. Lyudmila Sutherland to its ever-growing team. With over a decade of experience in optometry, Dr. Sutherland provides comprehensive eye care as well as management of dry eye, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration and other ocular conditions.

After graduating from an accelerated program from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences, Dr. Sutherland earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2012 from the New England College of Optometry. She completed her residency through the VA Boston Healthcare System, specializing in working with low-vision patients and individuals with traumatic brain injuries.

After completing her residency, she began working at Eye Center of the North Shore in Salem, MA., beginning her career-long specialization in comprehensive eye care, management of ocular diseases and dry eye syndrome. During her time with the Eye Center, Dr. Sutherland also continued to serve low-vision patients, working closely with both occupational therapists from Massachusetts Association for the Blind (MAB) and the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind (MCB).

Dr. Sutherland has also spent time as an optometrist at Ocean Eye Care in Gloucester, MA and Lens Doctors INC and MyEyeDr in Manchester, NH before joining the Focused Eye Care team.

Dr. Sutherland resides in Bedford, NH with her husband and two children.

Founded in 1962, Focused Eye Care provides eye health, optometry services and vision care products to individuals and families in southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts. It serves patients from offices in Nashua and Milford, New Hampshire.
